 I use the Mad Frog Liberator Mini on several kayaks to deploy my transducer. I
have seen this product for a while, but didn’t think it would work like I
wanted it to so I hesitated on buying it. I ended up buying one on a whim, and
installed it in minutes (5-10). I took it on the water and it worked
flawlessly. When I reached rocky, or shallow water I could easily retract it
from the water with my paddle without getting up from the seated position, and
when getting back into deep safer water I can redeploy it easily with my
paddle. I got to thinking and thought I can mount a board on each kayak and
just move the arm that’s connected to the transducer from kayak to kayak. Now I
have a mounting board mounted to several kayaks, and depending on which kayak I’m
taking out I can unscrew one screw and easily move the transducer from kayak to
kayak.

Pros– Easy to install, works flawlessly, easy to use, can be mounted to almost any
kayak.

 Cons– Causes slight drag, and a little noise when traveling on the water.
