This is a great plug to use to power electronics.  I use them for powering my fish finders. Make
sure you use dielectric grease on the brass parts, and 16-18AWG stranded wire.
I recommend applying a coat of Goop or Lexell to seal the plug to the hull of
the kayak the ensure no water enters the hull, and when tightening the screws
that secure the wires, use a small philips bit, and use only fingers to
tighten. I have found when trying to tighten with a small screw driver I’ve
stripped the heads of the screws.

Pros – Easy to use, Conveinient

Cons – Screws are weak
