Philip “Yak4Fish” Ruckart – North Carolina

Philip is based in the Central Piedmont area of North Carolina. As an endorsed Native Watercraft guide he offers trips on local lakes and rivers for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Catfish and Carp as well as Red Drum, Speckled Trout and Flounder in the coastal estuaries surrounding Beaufort NC. Philip holds pro staff positions with St. Croix Rods, KayakBassFishing and Get:Outdoors and is a team member of HOOK 1 Crew and Quantum Fishing. He believes every fish provides enjoyment in catching be it on conventional or fly tackle. When not on the water, Philip co-moderates the Native Watercraft Owners Group.

    I’m new to kayak fishing. I do not want information to your sectret fishing honey hole, but I would like to know some good waters to fish. Any advice will be greatly appricated.

      The Beaufort estuary would be a great place to start.
