Kirsten Lozier – Virginia
In the brief period of time that Kris has been fishing she has a few accomplishments behind her. As a mother of 3 Children, passing on her love of fishing to the next generation Angler is very important. If the weather is not conducive to kayak fishing, you can find her on the banks of a local lake, fishing with her daughter Amara. In general the promotion of our sport is important to her and the understanding to others that anybody can do it. Kris has been an active volunteer with Tidewater Heros on the Water for the last 3 years. She has donated her Ultimate Tegris 12 on several outings, since the light weight of her Kayak makes it easy to manage for our Heroes with even the worst disabilities. Kris has been an Ambassador for the World Fishing Network for the past 3 years and tends to write blogs that are close to her heart. Currently she is taking the Virginia Master Naturalist class and is hoping to finish all requirements by the end of 2012. She is also an active board member with TKAA. Last but not least her fishing partner and husband is Mark Lozier owner of 1st Landing Kayak Fishing Services. Mark is the one that got her hooked on Kayak Fishing. She is looking forward to contribute to the HOOK 1 Crew on a regular basis.
