Yard Sale Results
March 2, 2009 on 6:33 pm | In Kayaks | 1 CommentSaturday we had the 1st annual Hook 1 Fishing Yard Sale. We had alot of sellers and a consistent stream of buyers. I think Grego was salesman of the day bringing in a booming $700 or so …
Thanks go out to the sellers who made it a great day and to the buyers who made it a greater day !!
Thanks to Hogans Bait and Tackle Shop for helping promote the event - Hogans is located in Dana Point - (949)493-3528.
We even had our local fire department make a stop …
When they pulled up, I thought I was in trouble! But… they came to shop.
A few more pics:
See you all next year!!

Fishing Kayak - Tarpon 120 Ultralite
March 17, 2008 on 9:08 pm | In Kayaks | No CommentsJohn with Southwind Kayaks in Irvine came by with the Tarpon 120 Ultralite and we took the opportunity to take a few pictures of the boat. I understand from what I’ve read that it weighs 45 pounds compared to the non-Ultralite Tarpon 120 that weighs 60 lbs. It looks like it will have a good glide and be a good addition to the Tarpon family of boats. If you have any experience with this boat and would like to add a comment, please do!

(The boat is missing the middle hatch cover)
